Our Mission

To present Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to business and professional men and to develop Christian business and professional men to carry out the Great Commission.

Job 28.28 declares that God said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.

All men want wisdom because all men want to do the right thing so that they pay as little as possible in cost. The cost can be financial, emotional, relational or physical. Yet when men measure wisdom this way what are they really looking for? They are still looking to be god of their lives, knowing the best from the rest. It is about them being successful not about doing God’s will or obeying His commands by doing what is best for our neighbor.

True wisdom is acknowledging that one day we will stand before God and be measured by our obedience to His commands. Knowing this, wisdom is doing what God commands so that there is much evidence in our lives that He was indeed our God, our first love and had our complete allegiance. Obedience to God is both not doing evil and doing the good He commands.

Most people measure themselves by the former but ignore the latter. We think we are good because we don't steal not realizing that what truly makes us good is giving generously. We are not good because we don't murder, we are good because we serve others sacrificially for their success. We are not good because we don't rape others, we are good because we are faithful to love and serve our spouse all of our married days. Goodness is not the absence of badness it is the implementation of doing what God deems good.

The best thing a man can do is bring another person to Jesus for salvation and help them grow in obedience to His commands. This act of love and service pleases God our Savior most and changes the eternal destiny of our fellow man for their absolute best. CBMC makes doing this very best work easier through our special luncheons.

The Incomparable Power of Vision

by Robert J. Tamasy

My first experience of driving an automobile by myself, without someone in the passenger seat beside me, was one I will never forget. I was working on the evening shift as a stock clerk at a grocery store about four miles from our house, and my parents had agreed for me to drive one of the family cars solo.
